To ensure our community reflects these values, we have established the following strict guidelines for posting photos and videos to the LightStars Academy platform:
Photo & Video Guidelines
Positive and Respectful Content
- Photos and videos should promote positivity, inclusivity, and respect for all community members.
- Content must not contain offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material, including but not limited to discriminatory, violent, or explicit imagery.
Educational or Inspirational Focus
- All photos and videos shared should support the educational or inspirational mission of LightStars Academy.
- Examples include showcasing creative projects, sports achievements, or highlights of learning experiences.
Original and Legal Ownership
- Ensure that all content uploaded is original or that you have obtained proper permissions to share it.
- Do not upload copyrighted photos or videos without proper authorization. What is a copyrighted image? Any photo, image or video you did not create yourself can make you subject to copyright law.
4. Protecting Privacy
- Avoid posting images or videos of other individuals without their explicit consent.
- Do not include personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive details.
5. Quality Standards
- Photos and videos should be clear and of good quality. Avoid posting blurry or low-resolution content.
Privileges and Accountability
Posting as a Privilege: The ability to upload photos and videos is a privilege provided to members of the LightStars Academy community.
- Violation of Policy:
If this policy is violated, individuals may lose their ability to post photos and videos on the platform. If the violation is serious, we will ask that your parents and/or guardian get involved.
Reporting Inappropriate Content
If you come across a photo or video that violates these guidelines, please report it to the LightStars Academy administration team for review.
